Brush Tips
Use with Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
If
you have a graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro you can make custom
paint brush
tips from these images. Right click each
image, then choose save image as
.jpeg
or as
.gif or
as .png to a folder on your
computer. When you use your graphics program,
open
these saved images and follow the instructions for creating brush tips.
These images are over-sized; you can resize them
with your graphics program before
you make the brush
tips and also adjust the size of the resulting tips
as you see fit.
Black images produce solid, opaque
brush tips. Adding white to these images results in
transparent
areas. Lighter values equals more transparency.
Try varying brush size, color, density, opacity for unique effects
Starting
with an over-sized image
gives better results when making custom brush tips.

these brush tips in your digital scrapbooking designs or go to JazzUpYourPhotos.com

Gravel Rocks Custom Brush Tips.
Some graphics programs allow the rotating
of individual brush tips. This group of brush tips are all the same but
rotated 60 degrees from the previous one for use with other graphics programs.
This allows for a variation when laying down a large gravel/rock area.
The dark areas of the resulting brush tips will be opaque, the white areas
will be transparent and the gray areas will be semi-transparent.
Download these .png image files and open them into your graphics program.
With the selection tool set to minimum tolerance, select the white area.
Invert the selection. The gravel rocks part of the image is now selected.
Follow your graphics program's directions for making brushes from selections.
